Crinum Walter Flory

Crinum 'Walter Flory'
Crinum 'Walter Flory'

This hybrid has beautiful pink blossoms that open nearly monocolor, but which can display a darker pink stripe later in the day.  In warm weather the flowers may also fade to white at the bases of the tepals.  The plant was created by Katherine (Kitty) Clint, and is reported to have been derived by crossing C. powelii 'Alba' with 'Ellen Bosanquet.'

'Walter Flory' is a large plant that flowers in Spring.
