Thai Yellow

Thai Yellow Leaf Crinum
Thai yellow, patio plant in Thailand

Clone 'Thai Yellow' was found by Margie Brown of Vidor, TX. It is commonly used as a street plant and patio plant in Thailand, and perhaps other parts of tropical, southeast Asia. The plant is similar to C. xanthophyllum, but differs in certain ways. 'Thai Yellow' is a smaller plant than C. xanthophyllum, and 'Thai Yellow' has been reliably hardy outdoors in Vidor, TX for more than half a dozen winters when grown in a semi-protected location under trees or near a structure.
